If your crypto payment for a HelloSIM eSIM is not confirmed, the cause is usually one of four things: the transfer is still waiting for blockchain confirmation, less than the exact amount arrived, it went out on a different network, or it was sent after the 1-hour payment request expired. Compare your transaction with the details on the payment page, and if anything does not match, contact HelloSIM support with the transaction ID.
This guide covers each cause, what you can check yourself and what to have ready for support, followed by a checklist for next time.
Is my crypto payment still pending or did something go wrong?
Start with the transaction itself. Your wallet's activity list or your exchange's withdrawal history shows a transaction ID, also called a hash or TXID. Look it up in a block explorer for the network you used. It tells you whether the transfer has been broadcast, whether it has been confirmed and how much arrived at the address.
- Not on the blockchain yet: the transfer has not left your wallet or exchange. Exchanges sometimes hold a withdrawal for processing before it is broadcast.
- Broadcast but not yet confirmed: this is normal. The eSIM is issued once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain, and how long that takes depends on the coin and network, so there is no fixed number of minutes to wait for.
- Confirmed, but no eSIM: compare the amount, the network and the time you sent with the payment page. One of the causes below is the likely reason.
Also check the inbox of the email address you entered at checkout, including the spam folder, and look in your account or the app. Once a payment is confirmed, the eSIM appears there and the QR code is emailed.
What if I sent less than the amount shown?
The amount on the payment page is exact. Sending less can leave the payment incomplete, while overpaying still completes the order. Underpayment usually happens without the sender noticing:
- The exchange deducted its withdrawal fee from the amount. You typed the exact figure, the exchange subtracted its fee, and less arrived.
- The amount was rounded down when it was copied, losing decimal places.
- The figure came from somewhere else, such as an older request or your own conversion of the euro price.
Network fees are paid by the sender on top of the amount shown, so the full figure has to arrive. If your payment is short, contact HelloSIM support with the transaction ID before you send anything more.
I sent crypto on the wrong network: what now?
Each payment address and amount belongs to the coin and network you selected. A transfer on a different network can leave the payment incomplete. This mistake is easy to make between networks that share an address format: Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum and Avalanche all use addresses starting with 0x, so a wallet or exchange will often accept the address on the wrong network without any warning.
Blockchain transfers cannot be recalled once sent. Contact HelloSIM support with the transaction ID, the network you actually used and the email address from your order, before doing anything else.
My crypto payment request expired before I paid
A crypto payment request stays open for 1 hour. If it expires, start a new one from checkout and never send to the expired request; the new request shows its own address and amount.
Expiry usually comes from delays before the transfer leaves: an exchange withdrawal held for processing or extra security checks, a slow login to a wallet, or a payment started on weak Wi-Fi. If you have already sent to a request that had expired, contact HelloSIM support with the transaction ID.
Paying from an exchange vs your own wallet
Many payment problems start with an exchange withdrawal, mostly because the exchange makes some decisions for you.
From an exchange:
- The withdrawal fee may be deducted from the amount you type, so less arrives.
- A network may be preselected, and it may not be the one on the payment page.
- Withdrawals can be held for processing or security checks, which uses up the 1-hour window.
- Exchanges set their own minimum withdrawal amounts.
From your own wallet:
- You see exactly what leaves, and the network fee is added on top of the amount.
- The wallet needs the network's own coin to pay the fee, for example ETH on Ethereum or TRX on TRON, even when you send a stablecoin.
- You choose the network yourself, so check the wallet's network selector before you paste the address.
Either works, as long as the coin, the fee and the right network are ready before you create the payment request.

When to contact HelloSIM support
Contact HelloSIM support, through the live chat on the website or in the app, or by email, if:
- the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain but no eSIM has appeared in your account, the app or your inbox
- you sent less than the amount shown
- you sent on a different network from the one shown
- you sent to a request that had already expired
What you need before contacting support
- The email address used at checkout
- The transaction ID (hash)
- The coin and the network you sent on
- The exact amount sent and roughly when you sent it
- A screenshot of the payment page, if you have one
Refunds and recalled transfers
All sales are final: once an order is paid, there are no refunds. Blockchain transfers cannot be recalled once sent, by you or by HelloSIM, so the checks before you press send matter more than anything afterwards.
How to avoid crypto payment problems next time
- 1Have the coin and the network fee ready before you start checkout.
- 2Choose the coin and network on the payment page, then set the same network in your wallet or exchange.
- 3Scan the QR code or copy the address from the current payment page, and never reuse an old one.
- 4Make sure the exact figure arrives after any exchange withdrawal fee.
- 5Send within the 1-hour window, from a stable connection.
- 6Buy a few days before you travel; validity starts when the eSIM first connects at your destination, so buying early costs nothing and leaves time to solve a problem.
Stay connected without the payment worry
Most unconfirmed crypto payments come down to amount, network or time. Check those three against the payment page, keep the transaction ID to hand, and contact HelloSIM support when something does not match.
