Install your eSIM for iPhoneYou go need Wi-Fi and the QR code from your HelloSIM email — open am for another screen or print am.
  1. 1Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
  2. 2Open Settings → Mobile Data (dem dey call am Cellular for some countries) → Add eSIM.
  3. 3Tap Use QR Code and scan the QR code from your email.
  4. 4Tap Continue and wait until dem add the eSIM. Give the new line clear name, like “HelloSIM”.
  5. 5When dem ask, keep your main line as default for calls and messages. You fit switch mobile data to HelloSIM when you reach.
  6. 6If your plan cover the country wey you dey now, keep the HelloSIM line off until you travel, so the validity no go start early.

  1. 1Connect to Wi-Fi and open Settings → Mobile Data (or Cellular) → Add eSIM.
  2. 2Tap Use QR Code, then Enter Details Manually.
  3. 3Copy the SM-DP+ address from your email put for the first field.
  4. 4Copy the activation code put for the next field and tap Next.
  5. 5Wait make dem add the eSIM, then name the line “HelloSIM”.

Tip: Copy and paste the codes instead of to type am — one wrong character fit stop the installation.

Install your eSIM for Samsung GalaxyMenu names fit differ small between models and Android versions.
  1. 1Connect to Wi-Fi and open Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
  2. 2Tap Add eSIM (for some models: Add mobile plan).

Install your eSIM for Google Pixel and other Android phonesE work the same way for most Android phones — na only the menu names dey change.
  1. 1Connect to Wi-Fi and open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
  2. 2Tap Add SIM (or + beside SIMs), then choose to download eSIM instead.
  3. 3Scan the QR code from your email.
  4. 4Tap Download (or Activate) and wait until dem add the eSIM.
  5. 5Rename am “HelloSIM” so e go easy to find later.

Tip: You no fit scan? Look for the option to enter the code by hand and paste the activation code from your email.

  1. 1Turn off airplane mode.
  2. 2iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data → tap the HelloSIM line → turn on the line and Data Roaming. Android: Settings → Connections (or Network & internet) → SIMs → HelloSIM → turn am on and enable roaming.
  3. 3Choose HelloSIM as your line for mobile data (iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data; Android: SIM manager → Mobile data).
  4. 4For your main line, turn Data Roaming off so your home network no go charge you for data.
  5. 5Give your phone small time to connect to local network. If e no connect, switch airplane mode on and off or restart the phone.

Tip: Signal bars dey but no internet? Data Roaming for the HelloSIM line na almost always the switch wey dey miss.

Keep your number and WhatsApp when you dey abroadYour phone fit use two lines at the same time: your own number for calls and texts, HelloSIM for data.
  1. 1Keep your main SIM on and set am as the default line for calls and messages.
  2. 2Set HelloSIM as the line for mobile data.
  3. 3Turn Data Roaming off for your main line and on for HelloSIM.
  4. 4For iPhone, turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching so data no go ever fall back to your main line.
  5. 5Use WhatsApp, iMessage and FaceTime as usual — dem go keep your number and dem dey run on HelloSIM data.

Tip: Your home network fit still charge for calls wey you make or receive abroad. Check your tariff, or make calls go to voicemail.

Check your data and top upTop-up dey add data to the eSIM wey you already get — nothing dey to reinstall.
  1. 1Sign in to your HelloSIM account or the app and open My eSIMs to see your plan and the data wey remain.
  2. 2You no get account? Use the Check / Top up page with your eSIM ICCID and the email address wey you use buy am.
  3. 3Choose top-up package and pay — dem go add the data to the same eSIM.
  4. 4Your phone own data counter for the HelloSIM line dey give real-time estimate between checks.

Tip: Usage inside your account fit take small time before e update, so top up small before your data finish.

After your tripFew taps go put your phone back to normal.
  1. 1Switch mobile data back to your main line.
  2. 2Turn the HelloSIM line off inside your settings.
  3. 3Keep the eSIM installed until your plan don end — eSIM wey you delete usually no fit reinstall.
  4. 4Once the plan don finish, you fit delete the eSIM from your settings.
