1. Purpose
This policy defines what you may and may not do with HelloSIM data services. It exists to keep the mobile networks we partner with fast and reliable for everyone. It applies to every eSIM and data plan we sell and supplements our General Terms.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use HelloSIM services to:
- Engage in any unlawful activity, including fraud, distribution of illegal content, or violation of export/sanctions rules
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or operate SIM-box / A2P re-routing setups
- Run continuous commercial workloads: servers, permanent backhaul links, CCTV streaming, crypto mining, or unattended machine-to-machine use at scale
- Resell connectivity to third parties outside an authorized partner agreement
- Interfere with networks — port scanning, denial-of-service, malware distribution, or attempts to bypass network controls
- Persistently share the connection (tethering) as a household's or business's primary internet — plans are for personal travel use
3. Fair Usage on Unlimited Plans
Unlimited plans include a daily fair-use allowance at full speed. Usage far beyond typical traveler behavior may be slowed or paused for the remainder of the day to protect the network for other users. Normal browsing, maps, social media, calls, and streaming are unaffected.
4. Enforcement
Violations may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of service without refund, and — for unlawful use — reporting to the competent authorities. We apply the mildest measure that protects the network and other customers.
